United Way of Santa Cruz County announces New Board Chair & New Board Members

UNITED WAY OF SANTA CRUZ COUNTY ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD CHAIR

The organization remains committed to transformational impact under Hajime Arnold’s Leadership

SANTA CRUZ — United Way of Santa Cruz County (UWSCC) is pleased to announce Hajime Arnold as chair of the organization’s Board of Directors. Arnold is committed to maintaining the high bar set by his predecessor, Fernando Giraldo. 

Arnold was appointed to UWSCC’s Board of Directors in 2022. He is a Senior Director with ReCor Medical. where he oversees clinical research and data management systems. Arnold is a resident of San Lorenzo Valley. 

“We are very excited for this new chapter,” said Keisha Browder, UWSCC CEO. “I am so grateful for Fernando’s passionate leadership during the last few years, and I feel confident Hajime can guide us to even greater heights.”

“I am honored to step into this role and appreciate the opportunity to help make a meaningful difference throughout our county,” said Arnold. “It’s a privilege to build upon the thoughtful, strategic foundation that Fernando helped engineer.”
